Casting Shop Products
The Casting Shop are happy to do any type of casting for their clients and happily embrace the challenge of one-off items. They accept the casting jobs that other people can’t, or won’t, do. Products included jet boat propellers, the Arts Centre rain heads & down pipes, a Cadillac badge for restoration of a prized vintage car, molds for surgical equipment, architectural features, infrastructural furniture and more. Industries supplied include, but aren’t limited to, marine, manufacturing, construction, dairy, health, food and agriculture.
Since moving to the Watts Road premises in Christchurch, Ian has expanded the premises to include a wholesale shop, which is a great benefit to his local customers, but also acts as a window into the business for his North Island clients. In the last few years, Casting Shop have been attracting a greater number of customers from the North Island, particularly Auckland, as their reputation grows for getting the job done as well as tackling the more complex work other foundries are not set up to handle.
